The Better Globe Vision
Our aim is to do more to eradicate poverty in Africa the next 20 years than any other single organization ever has done before.
We do not believe in just charity, but we do believe strongly in "self-help" and will support poor people in Africa based on principles of profitability. This way they can be self-sustained and able to work themselves out of poverty.
We will do this by focusing our support in the following three main areas:
1. Tree Planting
The desert in Africa is moving south with approximately 600 meters per year and without massive forestation the next 20-30 years, all land suitable for farming will be gone and probably the farmers too. Massive tree planting will also hinder global warming, which is one of the biggest threats in our world today.
Goal: Our aim is to plant 5 billion trees in Africa, within the year 2026.
2. Agriculture
80 % of the people in Africa are poor farmers, most of them servive on less than US$ 1 a day. If we ever are going to eradicate poverty in Africa, we have to help poor farmers earn more money for themselves.
Goal: We will have a "Micro Finance Bank" for poor farmers, where they can have access to the money needed to increase their crop and their income. We therefore aim at becoming the worlds leading "Micro Finance Bank" for underprivileged farmers, within the year 2026.
3. Education
If children in Africa do not get free primary education, there is no way any African country will be able to eradicate poverty. We know that poverty and corruption are interrelated; we will therefore teach children in schools and universities the importance of integrity in order to fight corruption and poverty. We will also endeavor to donate our book "Put Integrity First" to schools and universities in all the African countries, as a tool to fight corruption.
Goal: Our aim is to build more schools in Africa, within the year 2026, through the NGO Child Africa scheme than any other organization has ever done before.
We know that in order to succeed in our mission, and to get enough dedicated citizens to help us, we need to start a "Movement" with millions of people, who are able to work with our projects and in the process make enough money for a living. That is why we selected "Network Marketing" as our model of building and marketing our mission. This is the only way possible to get so many people comitted to creating wealth, promoting self help and trustworthiness; in the relative short time we have, in order to reach our goals..
Better Globe will do something which has not been done before. We want to engage millions of people in our projects and make them take part in our initiative to fight poverty in Africa.
To get that many people engaged, these activities should be based on business and profit and not charity alone. We want to support the poorest people in Africa by business principles and profit:
* The poor will learn how to make money
* We who are helping will make money
Make Money by Doing Good
Better Globe has unique products (donation packages and tree packages) which contribute strongly to fighting poverty in Africa and through which everyone can make money.
* A Member can buy Donation Packages and earn more than he donated.

* An Investor can buy tree packages which are expected to yield more that four times profit. The profit could in fact be more than ten times the investment in a period of 20 years.

* By selling our products to Members and Investors you will, as an Ambassador, be able to make money and contribute to the eradication of poverty in Africa more efficiently than any other single organization has done before.

* By selling our product packages we will be able to:
o Counteract dehydration of soil, desertification and global warming
o Making farmers in Africa to become independent and earn more money through Micro Finance
o Build schools and provide education to poor children in Africa (the key to better welfare)

Briefly explained Commission plan:
The commission plan can be found under the Ambassador section on the website www.betterglobe.eu, but I will here give a brief outline:
It costs € 65.00 to become a member. This includes a yearly service fee for the website, downloads etc.
As a member you buy a donation package every month for a fee of € 49.00.
This donation package includes:
A) 6 trees, where of 4 trees are donated to a nonprofit organisation to be planted where it is needed in Africa (more information on leased plantations etc are given on website)
You are keeping 2 trees yourself, which also are being planted in the guarded BetterGlobe plantations in Africa. These trees will give you a growing income in the years to come. (Tree calculator can be found on website)
B) € 1,5 of each donation package is being transferred to a micro credit institution in Africa enabling small loans for farmers etc, in need for small loans to start a small business to become self sufficient. Better Globe is aiming to start a new micro credit bank themselves in 2008.
C) € 1,50 of each donation is being give to Child Africa. Child Africa have been working in Africa since 1991 (www.childafrica.org), and our donations are being used for education and care for the children connected with Child Africa.
Provisions are paid out once every month. You have two sales organisations (left and right) and get paid for each 3rd donation packet sold through your organisation. Every sale give you a commission of € 2.00 as long as you have the necessary balance between your two sales organisations.You get paid for infinite levels in your organisations, with a maximum payout of € 250 000 a month. As stated, you need a balance between the two organisations to get paid. You need twice as many sales in one organisation as the other to get paid. For instance: If you have one sale in the first organisation one month, and two sales in the second organisation, you get paid. When you have 6 personally recruited who donate every month, you will break even and don't have to pay for your donation.
As a member you can also earn a good income on selling trees through your website. This option is suitable for people not interested in getting involved with the MLM part of Better Globe, or as an addition to the MLM part of the business. This option also opnes up for selling trees to people being mainly interested in earning income on trees, who are not being interested in mlm. Tor Einar Olaisen was quite rightly involved with World Games, but he is not longer involved with Better Globe. When Better Globe discovered his past, they decided to stop his involvement with Better Globe.
The article is positive, but of course the journalist in some sentences focused on some of this persons past, since WGI has a bad reputation in Norway. Even if Olaisen never was accused of doing something wrong in WGI, Better Globe decided to ask them to leave the company. They did not want bad reputation because of these person's past involvement with WGI. Severel hundred thousand people from Norway also was involved with World Games in some way or another, and most of them never thought about this as something wrong.
I am working on the full translation for you. In general I can say that Norway now has very strict MLM regulations, after new regulations came a couple of years ago. Better Globe has full credibility in Norway and of course operate in a market that is now strictly supervised by the Norwegian Lottery Inspection. |

New network to save Africa
Tor Einar Olaisen was earlier one of the worldeladers in the scandalous company World Games Inc. He is now among the country leaders in Better Globe, which on Saturday had its launch in Trondheim. Rino Solberg (From www.ChildAfrica.org) is founder and chairman.
Kin Ulriksen from Lundamo is together with EWinar Steinshaug, Tor Einar Olaisen and Dagfinn Rognerud country managers in Better Globe. Kim Ulriksen rejects that the new network can be compared with a pyramid scheme.

No Pyramid

Network leader views 1,3 million kroners as lost:
Rino Solberg was a front figure in the controversial network marketing company Green Planet. On Saturday he was heading Better Globe’s launch in Trondheim.
I am doing this of pure idealism, even if I am sure I also will earn some money on this. Money does not mean anything to me, I will use my life to help Africa, Solberg answers on the question of his motive for being engaged.
Promising compensation
Solberg engaged himself in the controversial network company Green Planet about two years ago. Green Planet was founded in 2003 by the Trondheim man, Helge Normann. Solberg says it has been two turbulent years. The company was accused of being a pyramid scheme, but was freed from these accusations by the Norwegian Lottery Inspection last year. He admits that Green Planet was owing their members money, but says that everyone that want s to be transferred to Better Globe, will have their money returned.
- The ones who will have covered their eventual losses will have this compensated. We have already compensated most members from Green Planet by giving them trees in Africa
- What about the ones who will not be joining Better Globe?
- Everyone who had lost money in Green Planet will get compensation if they come to us and tell us about their losses, Solberg says, and is again focusing on members from Green Planet now keeping their trees in Better Globe.
Better Globe-founder confirms that Green Planet has 200 000 dollar, about 1,3 million kroners, locked in the canadian company Paysystems, a company which handled all payments in Green Planet. This is money Solberg views as lost.
According to managing Director Einar Formo in BetterGlobe, who was serving the headoffice of Green Planet in Trondheim, Paysystems froze all overseas accounts about one and half year ago.
- The cleaning up became too big
- Together with many more european companies we have gone to court against Paysystems. There are however small chances that our money will be returned, but we are following the case, says Formo.
- What is the reason that Green Planet closed and Better Globe opened?
- When I entered Green Planet two years ago, I started to to clean up. But the task became too big. We were not happy with the network marketing part in Norway, and in addition the company was compared with pyramid schemes. The only way to build a solid company is to build a new organisation, Rino Solberg says..
He tells that a couple of hundred active Green Planet-members have chosen to be part of Better Globe. Green Planet did in its most active period have around 7000 members.
Personal guarantee
In a memberletter from July this summer that Adresseavisen have been given access to, Solberg explained that Green Planet was put to rest from the month of July. Further on he told that some of the previous leaders had chosen to start a new company, and also change the name. He said this was because the earlier english co-owners of Green Planet had taken the earlier domain greenplanet.com. The letter also tells that Solberg and Helge Normann decided to go different ways as friends. Normann was, according to the letter moving to Panama to run the concept “People First”. In the letter Solberg in addition is giving a personal guarantee through seven promises to the members. One of the promises is that Better Globe will keep all its promises in the future, and pay all member provisions on time.
Adresseavisen did not succeed in getting in touch with Helge Normann yesterday.
Translators comment: Rino Solberg has for many years beeb a wellknown and highly respected couch in Norway, running seminars nationwide and also hired as a motivator by big companies in Norway. He has since 1991 together with his wife also run the non-profit organisation Child Africa, and is now living in Africa big part of the year.
